This project is a consolidation of reflections on my experiences and encounters as a surgeon and surgical intensivist.
The word Insaniyya, Arabic for “humanity”, reflects the many contributions to medicine, ethics, and the humanities made by natural and social scientists during the Islamic Golden Age.
